Biochemistry major; pre-med track
Hi! My name is Trisha Verma, and I’m a sophomore majoring in Biochemistry on a pre-medical track. I currently conduct research in Dr. Bellas' Fat Lab, where I study the effects of estradiol on fatty acid uptake and release by adipocytes. This research aims to better understand how a woman's diet influences fat tissue development at different stages of reproductive life. Additionally, I conduct research at Fox Chase Cancer Center, focusing on how the VHL mutation impacts renal carcinoma.
